India, Sept. 5 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Friday extended greetings to people on Janmashtami, wishing happiness, peace and prosperity for all.

In a post on X, Gupta invoked Lord Krishna and conveyed her wishes to people on the occasion of the festival marking his birth. "May the grace of Lord Shri Krishna, the Lord of Dwarka, bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to every home. May His life and the eternal message of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita forever keep us steadfast on the path of righteousness, duty, and the welfare of all," Gupta posted on X
