India, Aug. 29 -- The Delhi BJP has announced fresh organisational appointments to its OBC Morcha and Kisan Morcha, naming new office-bearers and district presidents for both wings within a span of two days this week.

The appointments were made with the approval of Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra and following consultations with the party's senior leadership, according to letters issued by the two frontal organisations.

In the first round of appointments, dated August 26, OBC Morcha state president Santosh Pal named eight vice presidents for the Delhi unit: Darshan Singh Verma, Lokesh Nambardar, Ram Naresh Ahirwal, Shyam Kumar Sen, Mahesh Awana, Manjeet Beniwal, Himanshu Yadav and Satish Lohiya.
