India, April 11 -- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has organised a week-long programme starting April 13 to connect the people of Delhi, especially the youth, with the rich heritage of the national Capital.
The Heritage Week includes promotion of art, culture and heritage awareness, and the civic authority has partnered with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for an exhibition/documentation of conservation efforts taken in the Mehrauli area, the DDA said on Friday.
Through Heritage Week, DDA seeks to deepen public awareness and pride in Delhi's heritage assets, encourage community participation and youth engagement, showcase its ongoing efforts in heritage conservation and urban ecology, and foster a stronger sense of owners...
