India, Nov. 3 -- Cyclone Murasu has disrupted flight operations at Vijayawada International Airport at Gannavaram, with IndiGo cancelling eight flights to and from the city on Tuesday (November 03) as a precaution.

Airport officials said the cancellations cover seven domestic services and one international flight, affecting connectivity with Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kadapa and Singapore.

Among the morning services called off were the Delhi-Vijayawada-Delhi flight (6E 6446/6447), the Bengaluru-Vijayawada-Bengaluru service (6E 7203/7204), the Hyderabad flight (6E 2572/2573), the Chennai service (6E 7303/7304) and the Singapore flight (6E 1030/1029).
