India, Aug. 12 -- Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez got married in a civil ceremony on Tuesday, Aug 11.

The wedding, described by the public relations team representing the Portuguese football star as "a private and intimate moment," was attended by their five children. The ceremony took place in Cascais, a coastal town in western Portugal near the capital Lisbon, the Brunswick Group said in the announcement.

The couple shared a picture on their Instagram accounts showing off their rings. They have been together for the past decade, since meeting in Madrid.
