India, June 19 -- A city court in Hyderabad issued summons to actor Allu Arjun and 22 others, directing them to appear in person on June 22 in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2, which led to the death of a woman and injuries to her young son.

The summons were issued after the Hyderabad police filed a charge sheet against 23 accused in the case on December 24. The court ordered all accused, including Allu Arjun-listed as accused number 11-to appear before it for further proceedings.
