Cong slams HM Shah for 'absenting' himself from both the house of the Parliament
India, Aug. 3 -- The Congress on Monday, July 3, hit out at Home Minister Amit Shah for "consciously absenting" himself from the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha to avoid accountability for his ministry's actions during the student protests, and asked how can the Parliament function if the government disrespects it in this brazen manner.
The opposition party claimed that Shah had been "refusing" to explain who gave the order which permitted the CRPF to "use metallic pellet guns" against students.
