India, July 1 -- Commercial LPG users across India received significant relief on July 1 as oil marketing companies reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs.183.50. The price cut comes after months of steep increases driven by geopolitical tensions in West Asia and supply disruptions linked to the Iran conflict. The revised rates took effect immediately and are expected to lower operating costs for restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other businesses that depend heavily on commercial cooking gas.
