India, May 28 -- In an effort to honour the contribution of stalwarts, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday announced the renaming of metro stations, hospitals and other public places after these luminaries.

Now, Rohini West Metro Station will be known as 'Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital Metro Station'. In addition, the under-construction sports complex in Begampur (Rohini) will be named 'Atal Khel Parisar' after former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A statue of the late Prime Minister will also be installed there.
