India, May 23 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday laid the foundation stone for a new oxygen park in Mukhmelpur village of Burari, announcing a major green development project aimed at improving environmental conditions and public recreational facilities in outer Delhi.

The three-acre park will be developed with modern amenities, walking tracks, landscaped green spaces, and hundreds of trees. The Delhi government has allocated Rs 1 crore for the project through the Forest Department, while another Rs 1 crore will be provided from the Chief Minister's MLA discretionary fund.
