India, March 3 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday reiterated her government's objective to ensure quality education and improved infrastructure for every child, thereby strengthening the resolve to build a Viksit Delhi.

The Government's vision, she emphasised, goes beyond literacy and focuses on preparing children to meet future challenges by equipping Government schools with modern facilities and fostering holistic development.

Rekha Gupta made these assertions after performing the BhumiPujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the permanent building of KendriyaVidyalaya at KhajuriKhas in North-East Delhi. She also inaugurated the temporary premises of the school, enabling classes to commence without delay.
