India, May 27 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta directed senior officials to ensure that all welfare schemes and development projects announced in the state Budget are implemented transparently and within the stipulated timeframe.

The Chief Minister chaired a review meeting through video conferencing with administrative secretaries and heads of departments to assess the progress of public welfare initiatives and development works.

According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Gupta instructed officials to execute every Budget announcement effectively with transparency and accountability so that benefits reach the public without delay.
