CM meets PM Modi discusses flood recovery and development agenda
India, Aug. 21 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Sewa Teerth in South Block and discussed the State's ongoing flood recovery efforts, reconstruction plans and broader development priorities. During the meeting, Sarma briefed the Prime Minister on Assam's roadmap for the next phase of the flood response, with a focus on rebuilding damaged areas, restoring livelihoods and ensuring comprehensive rehabilitation of people affected by the devastating floods.
