India, April 23 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday inaugurated a network of water ATMs in Shalimar Bagh, aimed at improving access to safe drinking water in densely populated areas of the Capital.
The facilities, equipped with five-stage RO systems, can supply up to 2,000 litres of purified water per hour. Officials said the initiative is designed to provide affordable and reliable drinking water to residents, especially in areas facing supply challenges.
The Chief Minister said ensuring clean drinking water for every household remains a key priority.
"These water ATMs are an important step towards making safe water accessible to all," she said while interacting with residents.
