India, May 21 -- Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Tuesday, visited multiple project sites in Assam's Morigaon district to review the progress of key industrial and infrastructure initiatives aimed at transforming the state into a major industrial hub.

During the visit, the Chief Minister inspected the proposed Mega Industrial Park project spread across 1,067 bighas of land in the Sipiri-Duruladubi revenue villages under the Jagiroad constituency. The project is being developed as part of the state Government's broader push to strengthen industrial growth and generate employment opportunities in Assam.
