India, July 28 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Tuesday, July 28, warned of a fresh nationwide protest, alleging that the Union Government was citing the Supreme Court's interim order in a batch of PILs related to its agitation to avoid giving a promised written assurance on withdrawing the FIRs against protesters.

The outfit said it would not withdraw a fresh agitation until "full accountability" was ensured and urged Parliament to debate the alleged police brutality during the July 20 protest, including fixing responsibility "not just of the police but also of the home minister".
