India, Aug. 1 -- A Zero FIR registered in Noida against a woman accused of raising objectionable slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the CJP-led protest at Jantar Mantar has been transferred to the Parliament Street police station in Delhi for further investigation.

Noida Police registered the FIR on July 29 following a complaint from a Supreme Court lawyer based in Noida. The complaint alleged that the woman used abusive language against the Prime Minister during the July 23 protest at Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak. As the incident occurred in Delhi, the case was filed as a Zero FIR and then transferred to Delhi Police, which has jurisdiction.
