CISF strengthens maritime security for blue economy
India, June 16 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is set to play a major role in strengthening India's maritime and coastal security framework after being designated as a Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
The move, aligned with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's vision for a technology-driven and collaborative security architecture, is aimed at supporting India's Blue Economy 2.0 vision and Amrit Kaal 2047 goals.
