India, April 28 -- Congress leader Chandy Oommen on Monday raised concerns over EVMs from two Assembly constituencies being stored in a single hall in Kottayam.
Speaking to reporters, Chandy said that a complaint had been submitted by his election agent to the Election Commission in this regard.
"The counting of EVMs will be held in one hall. I do not believe there is any need to keep EVMs of both constituencies in the same hall.
There are another hall and EVMs of one constituency could have been kept there," he said.
Chandy said that the EVMs of the Puthuppally constituency, from where he contested, were being stored along with those of the Changanassery constituency.
