CEO booked over intern's harassment complaint
India, May 9 -- Delhi Police has registered a case against the chief executive officer of a private company in South Delhi after a former intern accused him of sexual harassment, intimidation, and abuse of authority during her time with the firm, officials said on Friday.
The FIR was lodged following a complaint filed by the woman, who alleged that she faced repeated misconduct and mental harassment while working as an intern at the company.
According to police, the complainant accused the CEO of inappropriate behaviour and creating what she described as a hostile and unsafe work environment during her internship period. She also alleged that she was subjected to intimidation after resisting the conduct.
