India, Sept. 17 -- The Central Bank of India was conferred the First Rajbhasha Kirti Award for its outstanding implementation of Official Language Hindi at the All India Rajbhasha Conference organised by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in Navi Mumbai on 14-15 September 2026.

During the conference, the Rajbhasha Shield, presented as the First Prize, was received by the Bank's Managing Director & CEO, Kalyan Kumar, from the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, the Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, and Sumitra Panwar.
