India, May 13 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the Class 12 supplementary examination 2026. According to the board, the supplementary exam will be conducted on July 15, 2026, in a single-day format for eligible students.

CBSE has clarified that students who passed Class 12 in 2026 but wish to improve their performance in one subject can apply for the examination. Students placed in the compartment category in 2026 are also eligible to appear.

In addition, students from the 2025 batch who were placed in the compartment category can also apply for the supplementary examination. For many of these students, this will be the final opportunity to clear the compartment, as CBSE permits only thre...
