CBI gets 2-day transit remand of accused in NEET paper leak case held in Nashik
India, May 13 -- A court in Mumbai on Wednesday granted a two-day transit remand to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of an accused arrested in Nashik in connection with the alleged NEET paper leak case.
The accused, identified as Shubham Khairnar (30), a resident of Nandgaon in Nashik district, was taken into custody by the CBI late Tuesday night before being produced before a magistrate court in Mumbai.
The agency sought transit remand to transfer him to Delhi for further investigation into the alleged irregularities linked to the NEET-UG 2026 examination.
