India, Sept. 9 -- The BRS on Tuesday, September 9, moved an adjournment motion in the Telangana Assembly over what it described as police overreach and political intimidation by the ruling Congress.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao and other party MLAs sought a discussion on three issues - the alleged police mistreatment of BRS women MLAs, a Congress rally held near former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao's residence at Erravalli and remarks by a Congress MLA expressing a desire for KCR's death.

The BRS said the three issues pointed to a deteriorating law-and-order situation in the state.
