India, Sept. 15 -- The BRS has alleged that masked men attacked KT Rama Rao's PRO and PA inside the Saifabad police station while they were being questioned, accusing the police of being complicit in the incident. The party has demanded a judicial inquiry, preservation of CCTV footage and action against those responsible.

Police had registered cases against Mahesh and Mahender Reddy under Sections 132, 352 and 351(2), read with 3(5), of the BNS based on a complaint alleging that they obstructed officials performing their duties after BRS legislators were prevented from entering the Assembly premises through Gate No. 3 on September 7. The two were summoned for questioning on Monday.
