India, Oct. 7 -- The opposition BRS on Wednesday accused Telangana Congress MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy of inappropriately touching a girl student while travelling on a state-run bus, an allegation the legislator denied.

A video circulating on social media shows Ranga Reddy, 70, the MLA from Ibrahimpatnam, interacting with two girl students on a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus operating under the Congress government's 'Mahalakshmi' free bus scheme for women.

During the interaction, Ranga Reddy is seen holding one of the girl's hands as they discuss the benefits of the scheme.
