India, Sept. 27 -- A bonsai exhibition featuring around 100 plants, including several specimens nurtured for decades, was inaugurated at Lodhi Garden on Saturday in collaboration with the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).

According to the statement, NDMC Chairman Manoj Kumar Dwivedi inaugurated the exhibition at the National Bonsai Park in the presence of Japan Foundation Director Koji Sato, Head of Public and Cultural Affairs Kakashi Kobayashi, senior NDMC officials, members of the Indian Bonsai Association and enthusiasts.
