India, April 2 -- A bomb threat email targeting the Delhi Mayor's office triggered a major security alert at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, prompting an immediate search operation by police and bomb detection teams. However, the officials informed that no suspicious object was found during the inspection.
The threatening email claimed that an explosion would take place at the mayor's office at 2.11 pm. It contained alarming messages and references to extremist elements, including mention of "Khalistan National Army."
