BJP seeking to win next Telangana Assembly polls throgh vote removal during SIR: Revanth Reddy
India, Sept. 6 -- Accusing the NDA Government at the Centre of resorting to a vote-theft conspiracy in non-BJP-ruled states, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday alleged that the BJP is making attempts to win the next Assembly elections in Telangana by deleting votes of Congress supporters during SIR of electoral roll.
Reddy, who attended a meeting of Congress leaders and workers in his Kodangal assembly constituency, alleged that the BJP won Maharashtra, Bihar, and West Bengal elections through vote removal during Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll. The BJP is now adopting the same "deceitful tactic" in Telangana and the party targeted SC, ST and Minority voters in the SIR for removal, he claimed.
