BJP's Tawde mocks SP's PDA slogan ahead of 2027 UP polls
India, Sept. 5 -- BJP national general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Vinod Tawde on Saturday gave a new interpretation to the Samajwadi Party's PDA slogan, saying it stands for "Paraya, Dhan, Apna" instead of "Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak".
Tawde, who arrived in Lucknow for the first time after being appointed the BJP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge, said the party and its allies in the National Democratic Alliance would defeat the SP's PDA politics.
"The PDA slogan of the Samajwadi Party, which stands for backward classes, Dalits and minorities, will be defeated by us in the NDA because for the SP, PDA means 'Paraya, Dhan, Apna'. The NDA will never allow this," he told reporters.
