India, Oct. 30 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao said on Friday that his party would strongly oppose any move by the state Congress government to sell the 550 acres of land in Miyapur, Hyderabad, worth Rs 50,000 crore, which was acquired after a long legal battle following the Supreme Court verdict in favour of the state government.

Rao said the previous BRS government tried to transfer these lands to private parties, but the Supreme Court has ruled against the private parties' contentions.
