India, March 23 -- Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed 8,931 days in public office, calling it a "historic record" and crediting him with steering both Gujarat and the country on a path of development.

Addressing a press interaction, Sachdeva said the Prime Minister's tenure, which began on February 24, 2002, reflects a long period of governance marked by continuity and political acceptance.
