India, June 8 -- BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Sunday said the party, under its leadership and with the support of dedicated workers, was best positioned to ensure the development and progress of Jharkhand.

He said Jharkhand's people had earlier supported the BJP and credited the party with playing a key role in the creation of the State.

"Looking at the current situation, it appears that only the leadership and dedicated workers of the BJP are best positioned to ensure the development and progress of Jharkhand," Nabin told reporters here.

He was on a two-day visit to the state and participated in several organisational events during his stay.
