India, April 10 -- BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Friday held a meeting in New Delhi with party State unit presidents and other key office bearers to discuss the public outreach plan on the proposed amendments to the Women's Reservation Act.
The meeting comes ahead of the three-day extended session of Parliament during which proposed amendments to the Act are likely to be brought for consideration and passage. The Government has extended the Budget session of Parliament, and a special three-day sitting will be held from April 16 to 18.
