India, May 2 -- The Opposition BJP on Friday accused the Congress Government in Karnataka of "indulging in minority appeasement" and "insulting Hindus" following its '600 crore plan for minority colonies.

State BJP President BY Vijayendra questioned whether Hindus did not vote for Congress and bring it to power.

The Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on Thursday approved the formulation of a two-year action plan of '600 crores for the development of minority colonies during 2026-27 and 2027-28 in the State's Assembly Constituencies.
