India, July 12 -- A delivery agent has been arrested after a woman in Bengaluru's Marathahalli area filed a complaint alleging sexual harassment during a delivery. According to Bengaluru Police, the accused, identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamath, was taken into custody following the registration of a case at the Marathahalli Police Station.

Police said the case was registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) after the woman alleged that the delivery agent entered her apartment without permission and engaged in inappropriate behaviour. Authorities confirmed that legal action has been initiated and that the investigation is ongoing.
