Bengaluru court issues non-bailable warrant against Prakash Raj in voter ID case
India, June 23 -- Actor Prakash Raj has been issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) by a Bengaluru court in connection with a case alleging that he obtained multiple voter identity cards across different states, according to reports.
The warrant was reportedly issued by a magistrate court after the actor allegedly failed to appear for hearings despite multiple summons. The case stems from a private complaint filed by a Bengaluru-based individual who accused Prakash Raj of possessing voter IDs in more than one state, which is a violation of election rules.
