India, July 7 -- A court in Ayodhya reserved its order on a police application seeking custody of 3 accused arrested in the alleged Ram Temple donation embezzlement case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has sought custodial interrogation to probe the suspected diversion of donation funds and identify others who may have been involved in the alleged conspiracy.

The police argued before the court that custodial interrogation of the three accused was necessary to uncover the money trail, recover additional evidence and verify the roles of other suspects. The SIT has already questioned several individuals connected to the case and is examining financial transactions linked to the alleged misappropriation of temple donations.
