Assam Rifles, Indian Army conduct joint flood relief training in Agartala, Tripura
India, May 21 -- The Assam Rifles and the Indian Army conducted a two-day joint flood relief training exercise in Tripura to strengthen disaster response preparedness and improve coordination during flood emergencies in the state.
The exercise was organised with the objective of ensuring smooth and effective flood relief operations during natural disasters.
It focused on enhancing synergy, operational coordination, readiness and response capabilities between the two forces.
Troops from both Assam Rifles and the Indian Army jointly participated in a series of disaster management drills and practised standard operating procedures related to rescue, evacuation and relief operations.
