India, March 12 -- The State Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament (VBYP) 2026 was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Assam Legislative Assembly in Dispur, marking a significant platform for the State's young minds to engage in democratic dialogue and public policy.

Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Assam, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), the two-day event brings together youth representatives from across the State. Participants, having qualified through rigorous district-level competitions, are presenting their perspectives on the theme, "Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Indian Youth's Path towards Viksit Bharat 2047.
