India, Aug. 23 -- Arunachal Pradesh has achieved 100 per cent home electrification and tap water provision, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Saturday and asserted that his Government aims to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach every household. In a post on X, he said that by 2016, around 1.48 lakh homes in Arunachal Pradesh had electricity, accounting for only 49 per cent of the households in the State. "Ten years later, the picture has completely changed. Today, 3.02 lakh homes have electricity. That is 100 per cent home electrification."
