India, Aug. 11 -- The Indian Army has for the first time opened its establishments to student interns through the Indian Army Internship Programme hosted on the AICTE National Internship Portal.

The programme offers 43 specialised projects with a stipend of up to Rs 75,000 and up to 15 AICTE credits. It has already received over 77,000 applications since its launch, and the last date to apply is set as August 15, 2026.

The internships cover Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, drones and counter-drone systems, hospital information systems, wargaming and simulation, and strategic communication.
