India, Feb. 25 -- In a concerted effort to inspire the youth of Upper Assam towards a career in uniform, the Red Shield Gunners, under the aegis of the Spear Corps, organised a comprehensive Army Awareness Lecture at Kalakata Higher Secondary School in DK Gaon, Charaideo on Tuesday. The session was designed to sensitise students to the myriad entry schemes available within the Indian Army. Detailed presentations were made regarding the eligibility criteria and selection procedures for various ranks, ranging from Commissioned Officers to Other Ranks (OR).
