India, May 16 -- Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to inaugurate a newly built, fully automated milk processing and packaging plant of Madhur Dairy at Dashela village in Gandhinagar district on May 17, 2026.

Constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 128 crore, the advanced facility has an initial milk processing capacity of 2.5 lakh litres per day, which can be expanded to 5 lakh litres daily as per future demand. With the commissioning of the new plant, Madhur Dairy's overall milk processing and packaging capacity is expected to reach 5 lakh litres per day, strengthening its position as one of the leading cooperative dairy unions in Gandhinagar district.
