India, May 1 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival in Leh on Thursday. People from all walks of life, dressed up in traditional attire, queued up outside the Airport to accord a heartfelt welcome to the Home Minister. Shah is scheduled to attend the first-ever international exposition of holy relics of Lord Buddha in India. Shah was received by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport here. Senior officials of the police and civil administration were also present.
