India, July 11 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated a newly developed public library in Delhi and stressed that the future of the country is reflected in the number of young people who cultivate the habit of reading.

Addressing the gathering, Shah said a strong reading culture is essential for building an informed, innovative and progressive society. He noted that libraries play a crucial role in nurturing knowledge, critical thinking and intellectual growth among the youth.
