India, June 25 -- Amazon CEO Andy Jassy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and announced plans to invest an additional USD 13 billion in India by 2030 to strengthen artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure.

During the meeting, Jassy reaffirmed Amazon's long-term commitment to India, stating that the new investment will support the expansion of AI capabilities and cloud services across the country. The latest commitment will take Amazon's total investment in India between 2026 and 2030 to USD 48 billion.
