India, Sept. 30 -- Amazon Business, the B2B platform of e-commerce major Amazon, has so far recorded a 65 per cent year-on-year growth in sales nationally this year, driven by strong demand from MSMEs and corporate buyers, a top company official said on Tuesday.

The company is also working towards increasing the growth rate in West Bengal, where sales were up 35 per cent during the period, while bulk orders in the state surged 80 per cent, Amazon Business Director Mitranjan Bhaduri said. "At the national level, our five-year growth rate is about 40 per cent on sales. But if you look at just this year, we have seen a 65 per cent year-on-year growth rate for the year-to-date period," the company official told reporters here.
