India, Oct. 31 -- An alleged egg collection racket involving young women from different States has come to light at a working women's hostel in Saroornagar, under the Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

According to police, poor young women were allegedly lured to Hyderabad with promises of money and accommodated at Shetty Working Women's rented hostel in Venkateswara Colony. The women were allegedly subjected to repeated egg collection, with the eggs reportedly supplied to various corporate hospitals at high prices.
