Air India Delhi-Amritsar flight briefly enters Pakistani Airspace during go-around, probe ordered
India, June 24 -- An Air India flight operating from Delhi to Amritsar briefly entered Pakistani airspace during a go-around manoeuvre at Amritsar airport on June 22, the airline said.
According to Air India, flight AI479 inadvertently crossed into Pakistani airspace while executing the standard landing procedure after being required to abort its initial approach at Amritsar.
The airline said the incident has been reported to regulatory authorities and an internal investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances that led to the deviation.
